About Skyline

Skyline is a high end DJ venue located on the upper floor of a downtown high rise. The lighting rig frames the dance platforms and DJ booth, while visuals immerse the venue in the experience of dance, conversation and games.

However, all of the above can all be hampered by poor performance. As a result, Skyline has been designed first with the goal of providing a highly performance optimised experience without overly compromising on visual fidelity.

The design motifs common throughout Skyline, such as detailed metal, ornate wood, and marble, are inspired heavily by 1920's Art Deco design. 

Skylines Video System

Below the video player in the DJ Booth there is a toggle to switch between the two video modes present in Skyline:

• Default: 16:9 w/ Cropping
• Multiscreen Layout (A/B/C)

16:9 w/ Cropping

The 16:9 layout takes a conventional 16:9 video and plays it simultaneously on all the screens present in the world. The video is cropped according to the aspect ratio of each of the displays.

Multiscreen Layout (A/B/C)

The multiscreen layout lets each of the screen types have a unique graphic. This allows DJs and their VJs to customise the visuals beyond what is possible with a single 16:9 canvas. Extra graphics, such as DJ or event logos can be placed front and center, opening new doors for exciting visuals!
